AEROLAB designs and builds premium indoor skydiving vertical wind tunnels that offer a superior flight experience to both expert and novice flyers.
AEROLAB has accumulated decades worth of experience in designing and building sophisticated aerodynamic research wind tunnels across a wide range of industrial and research applications. This experience has allowed us to layout indoor skydiving wind tunnels that maximize performance and flow quality and that also minimize power and noise.
Our proprietary power system sits at the heart of our vertical wind tunnel systems. The system utilizes a single fan that has been geometrically optimized to maximize flow quality and power efficiency. Our fan technology, along with our optimized wind tunnel flow path designs, enable our wind tunnels to offer smooth and stable flow in flight. Our flight chambers are further configured with a neutral pressure configuration which eliminates the need for an enclosed staging area or anti-chamber.
Our wind tunnels have been designed and configured to minimize facility footprint and construction costs and to maximize system uptime. Maintenance of our wind tunnels is straight forward and structured to allow our customers to operate heavy duty cycles with minimal downtime.
Our experience and corporate footprint further position us to offer maximum support during the planning, construction, installation, and commissioning phases and to follow-up with technical support, training, and maintenance once facilities are operational.
Our family of Indoor Skydiving Vertical Wind Tunnels includes both standardized designs and custom designs that are created to match unique customer requirements. We offer 2 standard sizes including a 14 ft configuration and a 8.5 ft configuration.
